Who we are

Devonvale is an independent family run bakery business set in the heart of the Devonshire countryside. We specialise in producing a comprehensive range of high quality, individually wrapped handbaked flapjacks, crunchy cakes, crumble bars, shortbread slices, oat cookies, cakes and cereal bars. The management team comprises of hands on family directors and experienced senior management.

The Past

The roots of the Devonvale bakery are from traditional retail bakery shops that the managing director used to work in and run. So all our recipes are developed using traditional methods and the best quality ingredients, which have been sourced locally wherever possible. During the early days our products were clear film wrapped and labels were applied, now we do the majority of our range in fully printed film.

 

The Present

Over the past few years the Devonvale business has grown rapidly throughout the UK and Europe. We have supplied products to countries such as France, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Greece and Spain. This has either been with our Devonvale brand, the UNCH selection, our Just bar range or in numerous own brands. We produce millions of sweet snacks per annum employing in excess of 20 people.

The Future

We are constantly looking to improve our business, whether it be in our equipment, our people or our products. We have the facilities, flexibility and expertise to accommodate bespoke or own label projects. Product Development

We have plenty of other products and flavours that we have either fully developed in the past, or are recipes we can work on, or have the capability to produce. These include, Maple and Walnut Flapjack, Almond and Apricot Crumble, Multigrain Slices in different flavours and Protein, Energy and Dietary based snacks. If you have a specific flavour or product need we are happy to look into it for you.
